Not Dial-up Friendly

Last weekend was gorgeous. We had Friday off, and it was a beautiful day. Surprising, since it had snowed like fuck just the day before. I got a pedicure in the morning while Chris was at the zoo, and then we met up with Jo for a sushi lunch. Chris and I then set out to buy our grill, which has turned out to be the best purchase ever. In one of those "only in Utah" moments, we saw a missionary in a full suit shoveling snow from someone's driveway in 70 degree weather. Only. In. Utah.

Saturday was no less beautiful than Friday, and we got up early to go to a trim class from 9-11am at the Utah Historic Society. We were starving afterwards, so we took the opportunity to go to the Blue Plate for breakfast and sit outside. We followed that with lots of time spent in the yard and putting our grill together. It was one of the best days of my life.

And now, pictures...

Damn power lines.

Chris telling all about the importance of buying Peruvian coffee. I gave up caffiene for Lent, however, and didn't want to talk about it.

Spinach and avacado eggs benedict. Holy shit good.

Rusty bike chained up at the Blue Plate. Note the snow still on the ground.

Empty chairs at empty tables.

We got home and let the cats out for a while. Hillary was hunting something.

We have a gorgeous tree that arches over the walkway to our front door that is in full bloom.

More pictures to come later, when my image loader thingy isn't being a bitch.
