Snow!

It was balls-out snowing when I got up this morning. When we left the house, big fat flakes were coming down, but it was so warm outside that they were melting as soon as they hit the ground, creating a perfect rainy-day scene, except with snowflakes instead of rain drops. I love living in Utah.

I'm excited for Summer though, not only because Summer is my favorite season, but also because we're going on vacation!!!!!! We're taking June 1st to June 17th off. We're going to spend 10 days in Spain and Morocco and then spending 5 days in New York City when we get back. I can't wait.

We started a conversational Spanish class last night, because we thought that we should learn a little bit of Spanish so that we don't have to stay in the major cities the entire time we're in Spain.

Speaking of classes, we had our ballroom dance class tonight, but it was cancelled. We only have a couple weeks of that left, and I'm kind of sad. I don't know if we'll do another one next semester, because there are so many other classes that I want to take.

Because I'm a spoiled brat, I don't have to work tomorrow. Chris has a zoo event tomorrow morning, so I'm going to sleep in a little bit, get up and go to an appointment I have to participate in a heartburn study (which I have alllll the time), get a pedicure, and then meet my honey for a sushi lunch downtown. I'll be on foot all morning, and with any luck I will remember my camera and take some pictures of Springtime in Salt Lake City for this here blog.

Oh, and I did manage to get a slightly better "after" picture of our dining room. I don't know why I can't take a decent one:
