Right, remember how I said in my last post that I hated bullets? Well, I still do, but since I haven't posted at all in March, that's what you're getting. Things we've done in March:

  • Planted our garden. We rented a tiller and tilled the area where the sand pit used to be, and went to town. I think it's growing, and Chris thinks I'm full of shit. He says that I'm being too ambitious and that the key at this point is to not have it die.

  • Planted a very pretty iris out back.

  • Built a clothesline.

  • Finished scraping the ceiling in our TV room, and painted the walls and ceiling.

  • Finally hung some damn pictures in our house.

  • Got eaten alive by mosquitos. I thought we didn't have mosquitos in Utah?!?

  • Went to church for the first time in over 9 years. There is a Unitarian Church very close to our house that Chris and I have been meaning to visit ever since we moved in. We finally made it there on Mother's Day, and we loved it. We really just want a place to go where we can celebrate our spirituality, and this place was wonderful. We're going to go a few more times to see if we continue to like it.

  • Did a lot of grilling, chilling, and drinking.

  • Got the wood floors in our dining room refinished.

  • Got the previous owners to come and get their shit out of our garage. Don't ask.

  • Took a sushi rolling class. Although that might have been in April.

  • Continued on with our Spanish class. La clase es buena!

  • Planned more of our Spain/Morocco/NYC trip. Two weeks until we leave. I can't wait!

  • Went the opera to see The Barber Of Seville. It was excellent.

  • And last, but definately not least, started with the wedding plans. We're going to check out the place we want to get married tomorrow. We've been there a million times, but for some reason neither of us can picture the place where we'd actually do the ceremony.

My future in-laws are coming into town tonight, and we're going to eat a quick dinner and go to a baseball game. Tomorrow is the Living Traditions festival, so we'll be hitting that. Beer and great food. Mmmm. Someday you'll get real post.
