I can't believe we're halfway through another week already. Last weekend was fun and busy. We did go to the football game on Saturday, but we left in the 3rd quarter. It was cold and rainy and we had shit to do. The zoo dinner that night was VERY fun; it was probably the most fun I've ever had at a zoo event. It was nice to get all dressed up and drink wine and eat good food. We went to our friend John's house afterwards to drink wine, because we didn't feel like our night should be over yet.

We spent Sunday raking leaves. First, at John's house, and then John came over to our place to help us do ours. It was a very Amish sort of day. We rewarded ourselves by going out to dinner afterwards.

Note that we didn't do any Christmas shopping over the weekend. It's okay, though, we did some on Monday night. It was a fun way to spend a weeknight. I'm so in the Christmas spirit this year, all excited and whatnot.

Yesterday night we had our theology class, which is now over until after the holidays. Tonight I have a board meeting (for community council), and tomorrow night we're going to try to get to the gym. I (blessedly) have Friday off, but I have a shitload of stuff to do, including getting our tires rotated, going to a Traffic and Transportation meeting, and getting a bid on a new furnace. Chris has a zoo thing in the morning, so I expect to get up at a decent time. That night we're going to The Melting Pot with Scott and Jessica to celebrate her birthday - mmmmm.
