It's Been A Long Time

I know I haven't blogged in a long time and have no excuses for you. Right now I am on my period and have a giant cold sore and I'm kind of grumpy. I'll catch you up since the last time I posted.

Chris took me to Log Haven for Valentine's Day and it was absolutely magical. I love getting dressed up and going on fancy dates with my honey. The next day it was nice and warm, and we went for a hike. We had a great time, even though we couldn't get to the top because it was muddy. Winter hikes are like that, I guess.

Then someone shot up a mall just a few blocks from our house, and the whole city was sad. Thankfully, we didn't know anyone who was involved, but in a place as small as Salt Lake City shit like that affects the whole community.

Later that week, I took Chris on a surprise Valentine's Day date consisting of dinner at Taco Bell and a Hockey Game where it was $1 beer night. I'm so classy and you wish I was your girlfriend. Our big excitement that night was that someone tried to attack us outside of Taco Bell. Like I said, classy. We don't know what this guy's problem was, but he followed us out of the restaurant (actually, he left first and waited for us) and then followed us to our car. When we locked the doors he started freaking out and pounding on our car, and it was really scary. I think he was Unwell. We called 911, but they didn't find the guy. And then Chris caught a puck at the hockey game.

The next week (so, last week) was much less eventful, thankfully. It was a short week, so we had Friday off to dick around and do nothing. We went to poker night on Friday night and I won $3.25. We spent Saturday and Sunday hanging out with a friend from college (Julie) who is in town visiting.

And now it's Tuesday and I'm cranky. The end.
