Short Week Euphoria
Goddamn, I love short work weeks. I have tomorrow off! Woo!Steph is coming over tonight to hang. Chris will be going to be at a normal time since he has a zoo thing tomorrow morning, but I'm sure Steph and I will stay up and talk forever.
I don't have anything to do until noon tomorrow, so I will be sleeping in. We are going to visit our (new) accountant (not the $600 charging accountant of yore) in the afternoon, and then Chris is taking me to Log Haven for a Valentine's Day meal. LOG HAVEN!!!!!!!! I'm so excited. I have wanted to go there for a long time.
On Saturday, we are going to the Embassy Suites downtown to go swimming. Our friend John is getting a room there for his son's birthday, and we've been invited to come and use the pool and hang out. I can't wait! It will be such a nice mid-winter treat. We'll have to leave at 6pm to come home and get ready for I don't know what. Chris has something planned, and all I know is that I have to be ready by 8pm. Fun!
On Sunday we're going to try to register for wedding gifts, which we should be able to do since we don't have anything else going on. Well, besides watching Desperate Housewives with Jo (whom I haven't seen forever) that night. Maybe we'll try to go to church as well. We haven't been going. We're taking a theology class on Tuesday nights, and that's kind of our new church.
Maybe we can find the time to go on a hike, too. The weather has been awesome the past few days. All of the snow melted off our garden, and we went to investigate what was going on with the fall crops we had planted. We have radishes! What a fun winter treat. I would post a picture, but the internet is being a butt-licker and won't let me.
