If You Don't Want To Know

About my menstrual cycles, stop reading now. Fair warning.

Okay, so I got my period today. What the hell?!? For those of you playing along at home, that means the four cycles that I have been off hormonal birth control (which I had been on for over 10 years) have been as follows:

August 31 days
September 24 days
October 28 days
November 26 days

How the hell is a girl supposed to avoid getting pregnant with data like this? I ASK YOU.

When I went off birth control after 10ish years I didn't even GET a period for like 7 months. And even then it was all FUBAR. Bah.

A Hawkeye in SLC is almost about as bad as a Hawkeye in TX.

I will also creep you out a little by saying that you look like BR's sister. Yeah, I know you are Indian and she's Hispanic but whatever. DETAILS.

Thanks for leaving a comment!

Why couldn't I have been one of the lucky ones who got a break from her period?

Don't tell anyone from Iowa, but I secretly love it here! Shhh - they might revoke my degree!

And BR's sister must be a good-looking lady. :)

Hey. I came here from Tessie b/c I went to U of Iowa, too!

When I went off birth control, my cycles were insane. I was trying to get pregnant but some months my cycles were 35 days long, some months they were 22 days long, all higgledy piggledy. It worked out eventually but man, it sucked for awhile.

Yeah!!!! Best school ever! The winters, not so much. How'd you end up in Florida?

I'm glad to hear it's not just me with the crazy cycles. Thanks for sharing.

I grew up in Iowa, and went to Iowa from 92-97, so I'm pretty sure I'm a lot older than you. Loved Iowa City, though, so NOT like the rest of Iowa! Went to Kansas City from IC, then met hubby and relocated to FL for his job. How about you?

I grew up in Iowa too, and went to the U of I from 96-00. So you're not that older than me. :) I got a job offer in Utah so I moved here right after graduation. I expected to hate it, but I love it! Much better weather than Iowa, but we still get a winter.
