It's Midnight Between Saturday and Sunday

Do you think I can get up in time to go skiing tomorrow?

Thursday night I had a shitty ass motherfucking run. It was horrible, especially after I had such a good run on Tuesday. The upside of Thursday night is that Chris had a final, so he was home an hour or two earlier than usual. After he got home we left to hit up a 2 for 1 sushi night that one of the sushi bars downtown has on Thursday nights. It was great sushi, and a good crowd.

We spent Friday doing errandy type stuff. We saw our accountant, among other things. In a couple of weeks we should know if we're going to get any money back this year. We got a lot back last year, so we each upped our withholdings to 4, so we have no idea if we'll get money back, or owe, or what. I also went running, thinking that I couldn't do worse than Thursday, and guess what? It sucked WORSE. Not fun. Friday night we went to a friends house to make sugar cookies. That sounds really weird, and I can't say anything more about for a couple of days. I will explain. It was one of the best Friday nights I've had in a while, though.

Today (Saturday) we had a few roofers come over because we have a leaky roof. Fun. Only not. I also took a 3 hour nap. Chris is sick, but I don't know what my excuse is. We met our friends Scott and Jessica at our favorite Indian restaurant at 5:30pm, and went to their house afterwards. They got a pool table around Christmas time, so we had to test it out. We also played some other games, and I have two words for you: BEER. PONG. Dude, so much fun. And also? I kick ass.

And now it is midnight and I'm sleepy and I would like to get up to go skiing tomorrow, but we shall see. Chris is all about getting me up to go, but that's easy for him to say, because all he has to do is set the alarm and kick my ass out of bed, and then go back to sleep once I leave.
