Day Late, $1 Short
So I know I'm late to the party here, but Google Reader is the bomb. All of my blogs! In one place! What a concept! Maybe next I'll try out one of these "cellular phones" the kids are all talking about. (I'm just kidding. I do have a cell phone. I may not have cable TV, but I couldn't live without my gorgeous celly telly.)So. Community Council tonight. Blah. I don't feel like going, but I really have no choice as I have to take minutes. It would just be so much more interesting if I were allowed to have a glass of wine with me. Maybe I will bring a flask. (Again, kidding. Sort of.)
And even though you are all sick of hearing about running, I did speed work last night. This is only the second time that I've ever done it. The first time was two and half weeks ago, and last night I took 20 seconds per quarter mile off my time. (I did 8 quarter miles with 90 seconds rest in between.) Pretty awesome if I do say so myself. If I can work a "long run" in this weekend and manage to lift weights one day I will be very pleased with myself.

Pardon me, but I am NOT sick of hearing about running!
I like Google Reader too, even if it is slow sometimes. My favorite part is being able to search for something in my Reader if I can't remember where I read it.
Good, because that's all I seem to talk about these days!
I just love Google Reader because when I need a break from whatever I'm doing I can just check it instead of checking like, 20 different sites in the hopes that SOMEone has updated. If I check the reader and there is nothing new, it's like okay, there is no way to possibly waste time. As you were.
Geez - you are kicking *ss.
I always hit a funk with volunteer work, especially anything community oriented, where I "don't want to go." Once I am there, though, I am glad to be there. I hope you have the reaction tonight.
Yep, of course once I went I totally had fun. I'm a dork.
