Mayday

It's May 1st, and this morning we woke up to... a blanket of snow! Can I just tell you how much I love this city? I just wanna put my arms around it and give it a hug, and there is no sarcasm in that statement. Two days ago it was in the 70s, and today there is snow. How...fun, you know?

My mother-in-law is here until Tuesday, while Chris' dad is off playing golf with his brothers. I'm not sure what we are going to do this weekend yet, probably eat and relax and just enjoy each other's company. Tonight we are going out to dinner with Steph and Tom, because her graduation from nursing school was today. She doesn't actually graduate until August, but the University doesn't do a graduation then, so she is going today. I am so proud of her, and I can't wait to go to dinner.

Well that's my story. I have nothing exciting to report, which is ironic because May is turning out to be the busiest month ever. We have 2 camping trips (one being a river trip) planned, a possible wine tasting, a drive-in night, our work summer picnic, and more. Maybe it will be a summer picnic IN THE SNOW.
