So I guess it took me a week to recover from our Spring Break trip. We had such a good time in Phoenix. We swam, played golf, went out drinking, chatted with the adults and kids, and had a super-relaxing time. We got in late on Monday night (technically Tuesday morning) and I spent last week going to the gym a lot and getting accustomed to real life again.
So here I am. This past weekend was a good one. Chris had school AND had to work over the weekend, but we still had a fun weekend. Saturday night we went to a combination birthday/anniversary party for his cousin, who turned 50 and celebrated 20 years of relationship-hood. It was a really fun time. A lot of Chris' family from Wyoming was there, and it is always fun to see them.
And that leaves me here, with nothing to post about. Seriously people, feel free to comment of email me and give me something to post about. I'll talk about pretty much anything.

I Haven't Disappeared
I've just been in Arizona for the past week on SPRING BREAK!!!!!!!!! So I'm not in school, but my husband is, so I think I can jump right on the spring break bandwagon. I'm still there now, actually. We get home really late tonight. Work will be fun tomorrow, END SARCASM.Monday, March 17, 2008
99.9% Sure
That I am NOT pregnant. Thanks for riding the roller coaster with me. I think we'll be a lot more careful until we decide that we want to start "trying" for sure. (Which will be sometime before the end of 2008.)Friday, March 14, 2008
This Is Fucking Ridiculous
I took another pregnancy test this morning (3 days after the last one) and it was negative. But I still don't have my period, even though I'm 3 days late now. (I have a 26 day cycle and this is day 29 for those of you playing along at home. So does that make me 2 days late or 3 days late? I don't know, but it makes me INSANE, that much I know.) So I'm buying a 4 pack of early response tests at Costco after work, and if I can manage to not pee for 4 hours I will take one tonight, and if I can't I'll take one tomorrow.Wednesday, March 12, 2008
The Rabbit
Hee, there was a pet rabbit in our garden when we got home tonight! Chris wrangled it into a bin with a bed of leaves and called animal control. I wish we had taken a picture. In other news, I don't wanna leave you hanging. I took a pregnancy test yesterday morning, and it was negative. Today is the day my period was due, and it didn't. Come, that is. So I don't know what to think. But you know I'll keep you posted, dear internet friends. I see you all out there on the edge of your seats.

Exhausted
I'm so tired. Also sunburned and happy.I spent the day skiing on Friday. It was a gorgeous day. Chris had to work, and I most certainly did not, so I dropped him off and headed to Alta. Friday night we went out to sushi with Jesse and Sharon, and then came back to our place and had some drinks and chatted with them.
Saturday I spent running errands, for the most part. Chris had to work again, so I took care of some things we needed to get done, and also managed to get in a run. We spent the evening at Scott and Jessica's house, eating a really tasty dinner and playing poker and drinking yummy scotch with a fun group of people.
The phone woke me up on Sunday morning, despite the whole daylight savings time bullshit. I went for run, lifted weights, and then went to Alta to meet Steph, Tom and Jesse. I got 3 runs in before the lift closed, and then had some drinks at the Rustler Lodge.
SO. Tired. SO. Happy.

You Know Who Is Looking Super Hot Right Now?
I mean, aside from me.Rob Lowe. Daaaaaaaamn. He's not even "my type", whatever the hell that means, but he's looking super lately.
Let's talk about our lists of 3. Have we talked about this before? The list of 3 is, of course, the list of 3 people that you get to sleep with if you ever get the chance and your spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend can't get mad. So. My list of 3.
1) Keifer Sutherland (HOT)
2) Sendhil Ramamurthy (OMG HOT)
3) Marlon Wayons (Hmm, sometimes okay.)
Marlon is definitely in the flux position. When I told Chris that I was putting Marlon on my list of 3, I drunkenly declared "I'm putting Waylon Jennings on my list of 3!!!!" Chris replied with a "Umm, I don't think that's who you mean." I'm so glad he has my back. Waylon Jennings is both not hot, and dead, may he rest in peace. I'm so glad I didn't waste a coveted spot on the list of 3 on someone who I really have ZERO chance of sleeping with.

I'll Know In A Week
So the something something on my mind that I mentioned in my last post. Yes, well. We had a little birth control slip-up last week and now I'm worried I'm pregnant. If I am, it wouldn't be horrible. We have been 90% sure that we want kids, but because we're both slacker youngest-born children, neither of us is very good at making decisions that will ultimately require us to be more responsible. Our usual approach to life is "Eh, whatever. Wanna get a beer? And then go on vacation?" So in some ways, if I am pregnant, it will be a good thing, because hey, decision made. And we will be happy.
But I will also be happy if I am not pregnant because we were hoping to put off the baby thing so we could go to Egypt this summer to visit Julie and Zac, and also so that Chris would be closer to being done with school when the kid is born.
But life's funny like that, and whatever, it was one slip-up. I'm probably not pregnant and we'll be laughing about this with a pitcher of margaritas in a week or two. Right? Getting pregnant isn't that easy, is it? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
